Your Alaska.
Your itinerary.

Explore with Davis as your private driver-guide, or get help arranging a wider Alaska journey. Real Alaska Outdoors can recommend and coordinate accommodations and experiences with other operators.

Summer private guiding from $1,248/day per group

Up to five guests. Includes private transportation and guiding, plus one meal, snacks, and drinks per guest on guided days. Service is limited to a maximum of 10 hours per day, with the schedule agreed in advance.

Planning and booking from $520

A separate fixed planning quote reflects your itinerary's complexity and the bookings involved.

Prices include applicable taxes and payment processing costs. No separate payment processing fee is added. Gratuities are not included. Your quote confirms the complete total before booking.

A service day starts at $1,248 total; planning and other trip costs are additional.

A clear quote, before you commit

Guest accommodations, other guest meals, parking, partner activities, and guide lodging are separately addressed in your quote. Summer guide lodging is typically a local campground for Davis's mini RV. Return travel costs are included in quotes when your trip ends outside Anchorage. Travel to and from Alaska is your responsibility.

You may book your own accommodations and activities, have Davis arrange them, or combine the two. Your itinerary will identify the operator, who handles each booking, what is included, and applicable provider terms.

Summer kitchen. Winter adventures.

Davis started Real Alaska Outdoors to bring culinary experiences to Alaska tours. In summer, his trailer serves as a mobile tour kitchen. He holds an Alaska food certification and first aid/CPR qualifications.

Winter transfers and multi-day trips are available by custom quote. Winter guide lodging is charged because RV camping is unavailable, and outdoor cooking is not offered. Meal arrangements are confirmed in your winter quote.

Two ways a journey can unfold

Southcentral & Denali road journey

Anchorage → Denali → Talkeetna → Girdwood → Seward → Anchorage. Combine private transportation with selected gold panning outings and hikes.

A wider Alaska adventure

Travel from Anchorage through Girdwood, Seward, Talkeetna, Hatcher Pass, Denali, and Fairbanks, with optional partner-operated flightseeing, boat trips, rail journeys, and visits to Kenai Fjords, Katmai, Lake Clark, and Denali national parks.

These are itinerary ideas, not fixed packages. Some partner excursions may be shared with other travelers. Availability, conditions, and your final quote determine the activities included.

Start planning early

Allow at least 3–4 weeks when you need booking and planning support, or two weeks for transportation-only arrangements. Earlier inquiries give you more options. A 50% deposit confirms a multi-day reservation; the balance is due 60 days before departure. Bookings within 60 days require full payment.
